BIC is currently running its first pilot project the "LETTER PROJECT". This project  is designed to engage and empower some of the seniors in your local community, giving them a voice and the ability to give back by raising funds for the disadvantaged. Please watch this space as more information will be coming through in October 2017 - We want to tell you the stories of these amazing seniors in your community.

First Project

Archiving Angels at the Roma on Bungil Gallery in 2013 raised funds for the Queensland Cancer Council and was attended by more than 200 local community members. This exhibition documented and told the stories of women from the Roma community who had experienced cancer. Archiving Angels was a great success not only from a financial point of view, but because it gave those women an opportunity to express one of the most difficult times of their lives. As a result many people in the community were also made more aware of the importance of early detection. Click on the image below to scroll through.
